Roleplaying can add even more fun to Among Us. Fans are always thinking up new and innovative ways to make Among Us even more entertaining. One way to do this is roleplaying. Whether playing with strangers or a group of family and friends, here are some of the funny ways people roleplay in Among Us.

Some players like to pretend to be whatever their characters are dressed as in Among Us. This can mean roleplaying a police officer, a pilot or even a wizard. Around the holidays, when witch hats appear for Halloween and Christmas decoration and outfits go up for the holidays, people act according to the ways they’re dressed. This can have a lot of humorous effects, especially when playing with strangers.

However, there are also funny ways to roleplay in Among Us with a group of friends or family. This can happen when players choose a theme for names. Players can choose to all be members of an  Among Us cheesy sitcom family, or pick characters from their favorite movies or TV shows. Game of ThronesThe Office, or Star Wars can all make great themes for naming – and it can be made even funnier if everyone roleplays that character. This way, games get a murderous Dwight Shrute stalking Jim and Pam, or Darth Vader being extremely sus when Luke Skywalker is the real Impostor.

Roleplaying in Among Us can be even funnier if everyone in the group knows one another. Impersonating family members and friends can be a lot of fun, and it can lead to some hysterical confusion as well. This can result in a lot of laughs, as people do impressions of their friends and call out personal quirks. It doesn’t work so well with strangers, of course, but it’s a lot of fun when playing with a familiar group.

Misleading other people in Among Us is a major aspect of the social deduction game, and roleplaying fits with that theme well. Of course, the key is making sure it’s all in the name of friendly fun. Roleplaying to simply troll strangers online, or to try to make someone feel uncomfortable, is never a good idea. The funniest ways to roleplay usually involve playing with friends in Among Us, or a getting a group that agrees to roleplay together.

While murders set in outer space can make a game intense, roleplaying is a way to add an extra layer of fun to Among Us. Whether it’s pretending to be characters from the same TV show or acting out the job a character is dressed for, there are some truly funny ways people have roleplayed in the game.

Among Us Players Are Roleplaying As Security Guards

Some Among Us players take the game so seriously that they’ve started to roleplay as security guards, watching over other players while they finish tasks and use the security cameras.

“You gotta love randoms,” said one of Among Us players  about a random player who protected him as he monitored the in-game camera feeds. “This dude just guarded the doorway while I watched cameras the whole game.”

A lot of players have started to take on security guard duties. They change their in-game name, buy the police officer skin, and then go to work. Sometimes they even ignore their duties when they’re an impostor.

“When they were impostor they would still be my security detail,” commented the same player. “I just wouldn’t snitch. But I would be fair in voting if people were sus of him. It was a fun night. Wish you could friend request people.”

Online matches are often full of random players, leading to a lot of fun little scenarios like this. We’re going to hear about more payers like this as Among Us continues to be incredibly popular.
