Basically Pets will follow their players around and if their owner is killed by an impostor the pet will stay where the player died and simply cry in the spot where its owner died. For added dramatics, the pet will also appear terrified when a player is getting killed in the kill animation that you will have gotten used to if you’ve been playing this game.
How to get free pets in Among Us
Unfortunately, there is no way to get free pets in the game. You will need to purchase the pet of your choice from the game’s store if you’re using the mobile version and purchase the Add-ons from Steam for PC gamers. All pet bundles cost $2.99 across all platforms. Here’s a look at each pet bundle and what you’re getting.

To get or purchase a pet in this game, players can follow the steps below:
- They can run Among Us on the preferred device.
- After the menu appears with the default interface of Among Us, users need to look at the bottom of the screen.
- There will be an option at the right-hand side under the FREEPLAY box displaying a ‘$’ sign.
- They have to tap on it.
- A pop-up dialog box will appear, displaying the ‘Store’ section of Among Us.
- The ‘PETS’ section will appear on the first page, showing the different pets available.
- They can choose the preferred pet.
- They can now tap on the box beneath the dummy character with a pet, where the amount to be paid appears.
- The Google Play Payment box will pop-up on the screen, displaying options like ‘Add credit or debit card,’ ‘Add Bhim UPI ID,’ ‘Add Netbanking’, and ‘Redeem Code.’
- Gamers can choose the preferred payment option.
